Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026

Short version: JSGuides doesn't collect anything itself. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletters. The only data anything sees about you comes from the two third-party services described below.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see aggregate traffic: how many people visit, which pages are popular, which search terms bring people in. It tells us nothing about you as an individual that we could act on. Google's privacy practices apply, and you can read them at policies.google.com/privacy.

Google AdSense

Google AdSense serves the ads on the site. Like other third-party vendors, Google uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to JSGuides and other sites on the internet. Some of those ads may be personalized to your interests; others won't be.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU). A common ad-blocker will block both the ads and the tracking, and the site will still work normally.

What we don't do

We don't collect personal information. We don't sell data. We don't email you. We don't share anything with anyone outside the two Google services above.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights to know what data is held about you and to ask for it to be deleted. We don't hold any ourselves, so requests of that kind go to Google via the opt-out links above. If you can't get what you need that way, email contentmill@protonmail.com and we'll help.

Changes

If we change this policy in any meaningful way, the date at the top will move.
